Chloe’s Joy — Sprinkle Kindness Like Confetti

At Has2bhappy, we believe in making the world a better, kinder place. Every day, we support adults with learning disabilities to live full, meaningful lives. We do this with care, compassion, and a lot of heart — values that our dear Chloe carried with her wherever she went.

Chloe was a bright light — joyful, generous, and full of fun. Her smile lit up every room, and her kindness touched so many lives. She had a gift for spreading happiness, and she made people feel special just by being herself. In her memory, we want to carry that spirit forward — not with sadness, but with kindness.

✨ The Chloe’s Joy Fund

Chloe’s Joy is our special fundraising initiative created to honour Chloe’s memory. It’s our way of continuing her legacy — of joy, of laughter, and of looking out for others.

With your support, the Chloe’s Joy Fund will help charities and community organisations that bring light and comfort to those who need it most. One of the causes close to our hearts is our local hospice, which provides care, dignity, and compassion to people and families at life’s most difficult moments. We are proud to support them — and Chloe would be too.

The fund may also support:

  • Mental health services for young people

  • Community projects that promote inclusion and connection

  • Initiatives that help vulnerable people feel safe, seen, and supported

While Has2bhappy uses its surplus income to make a difference year-round, the Chloe’s Joy Fund gives us a way to respond when something or someone needs a little extra love.

In Memory of Chloe: Help Us Bring Lifesaving Defibrillators Into Every Has2bhappy Home

At Has2bhappy, our supported living houses are more than buildings. They are homes — places filled with laughter, friendship, warmth, and the everyday magic of people being truly seen, valued, and loved. We support adults with learning disabilities to live happy, meaningful lives in spaces where they feel safe and celebrated, with kindness at the heart of everything we do.

We are fundraising to install a defibrillator in each of our 7 supported living houses, where 21 adults live. This is about more than equipment on a wall. It is about precious minutes. It is about being prepared. It is about giving the people we support, their families, and our staff one more layer of protection, one more chance, one more reason to hope.

This appeal is deeply personal.

These defibrillators will be installed in memory of Chloe — a beautiful soul whose joy, kindness, and light continue to shape everything we do. Chloe had that rare gift of making people feel special just by being herself. Her spirit lives on through Chloe’s Joy, a legacy rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that even in sorrow, love can still ripple outward and do good. Has2bhappy’s own words say it best: Chloe’s memory inspires a movement to “sprinkle kindness like confetti.

When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, every second matters. Resuscitation Council UK says early recognition, immediate CPR, and rapid defibrillation can more than double the chance of survival. Their community guide also says that for every minute’s delay to defibrillation, once resuscitation has started, the chance of survival falls by 10%. Defibrillators are designed to be used by ordinary people, including those with no previous training, with clear audio and visual prompts to guide them.

That is why this matters so much.

We cannot rewrite the past, and we cannot know what might have been different. But we can choose what we do now. We can choose to act. We can choose to protect. We can choose to honour Chloe not only with words, but with something practical, powerful, and potentially lifesaving.

By donating to this appeal, you will help us place a defibrillator in every Has2bhappy supported living home — giving our staff the tools they may one day need in an emergency, and giving the people we support the reassurance that their home is equipped with the best possible chance of help when it matters most.

This is what kindness looks like.

It looks like a community coming together.
It looks like love turned into action.
It looks like remembering Chloe in a way that carries her goodness forward.
It looks like protecting vulnerable adults not just with care, but with preparedness.
It looks like saying: you matter, your life matters, and we will do all we can to keep you safe.

If Has2bhappy has ever made you smile, if Chloe’s story touches your heart, or if you simply believe that every life is worth fighting for, please support our campaign.
