Chloe Joy’s Coach Trip to Alnwick Castle (aka: Our Hogwarts-for-the-Day Adventure!)
There are coach trips… and then there are Chloe Joy coach trips — the kind where the day starts with a buzz, turns into a belly-laugh marathon, and somehow ends with everyone feeling like they’ve picked up a little extra sparkle along the way. This time, our wheels rolled toward the mighty Alnwick Castle, and honestly? It was pure Chloe Joy from the first “are we nearly there?” to the last happy sigh on the ride home.

As soon as we arrived, the castle came into view like something straight out of a storybook — grand towers, proper medieval vibes, and that “wow” feeling you get when you realise you’re standing somewhere that’s hosted history, heroes… and yes, a certain famous wizarding world.
And with Chloe Joy sprinkled like confetti, you can imagine the excitement levels: high, the smiles: bigger, and the group vibes: 10/10.
The main highlight: broomstick flying lessons (yes, REALLY!)
Let’s get to the moment that made us all feel like we’d been handed our acceptance letters: we learned to fly a broomstick like Harry Potter!
That’s right — flying lessons. The kind where you step onto the training ground, try to look cool and fearless, and then immediately burst out laughing because you’re about to attempt a broomstick take-off with your friends cheering you on.
There were:
dramatic “up!” commands (with varying success 😄)
plenty of giggles
proud little victories
and that unbeatable moment when you think, I am absolutely nailing this.
If joy had a uniform, it would’ve been us on that training spot — Chloe Joy everywhere, like confetti caught in a gust of magic.
Exploring the castle: wow moments around every corner
After our spellbinding session, we took our time exploring the castle, wandering through its incredible spaces and soaking up the atmosphere. There’s something about Alnwick that makes you feel both tiny and thrilled — like you’ve stepped into a living film set where every doorway has a story behind it.
We explored, we admired, we took photos, we had those lovely slow moments of simply being somewhere special together — and all the while, the day kept blooming with that signature Chloe Joy.
A day to remember (and one we’ll be talking about for ages!)
By the time we climbed back on the coach, we were happily tired — the best kind — full of memories, laughter, and just a little bit of “did we actually do broomstick lessons today?!” disbelief.
Alnwick Castle gave us magic, history, and adventure — and we brought the Chloe Joy, sprinkled like confetti from start to finish.
